Our torchhike lights the shore
And with it, the abandoned docks.
Water is glimmering before our eyes.
Old wrecks lost like a flock of sheep.
But the tides seem tirelessly
And the ocean‘s roar shiveres the coast.

No food in the fishermans house.
No ember in the fireplace.
Just an old dress made of satin, all shimmering blue.
Remember the ocean and its deep:
Lasting long
Lasting long
Like the harbour.

Leave this place.
Leave it as a grave
For mariner‘s tales.
Leave the dress and it‘s connotations.
We may not drown here.
Not in this place.
This darkened port.
